Therapy for adults and expectant/new parents experiencing mental health and substance use challenges

I’m glad you’re here.

Choosing to begin therapy is a courageous step and finding a therapist that is a good fit can feel overwhelming. My hope is that by exploring this website you will get a better sense of who I am, as well as how I work with clients. The therapeutic relationship is an essential component to supporting you in achieving your goals. Together through therapy, my hope is to provide you an opportunity for self-discovery, where you can better understand your history, identities, values, and behaviors.

I believe every human being is doing the best they can with the resources they have. We all have the capacity to grow, change and heal, though sometimes we need a little help in the process. While therapy can be difficult work, it can also be incredibly rewarding. Please reach out if you’d like to know more about how I might support you.

Inclusive

Fostering a safe, non-judgmental space for clients is my number one goal. I view my work through an anti-oppression lens, and I value the diverse and intersecting backgrounds and identities of my clients.

Collaborative

I believe clients are the experts of their experience whose therapeutic needs are best met through a collaborative approach. While I have expertise in therapeutic modalities that promote growth and change, I look to clients to help identify how we can best work together.
